“Spring/summer ’27 brings cohesion between the Italian Daydream and lifestyle collection, with a distilled, decisive point of view.”

That’s how Bugatchi owner Cecile Revah described the company’s latest collection. The brand, which is celebrating its 45^th anniversary this year, brought Omar Bertona, formerly of Isaia, Caruso and Maurizio Baldassari, on board in 2025 as head of design. He created a Made in Italy collection called Italian Daydream that is an elevated version of the company’s core line.

For spring, Bertona channeled the coast and soft palette of his native Italy, offering up a collection inspired by Lake Maggiore, the country’s second-largest lake. Azure blues, peaches and beiges were used on a variety of tailored and casual pieces including camp shirts in cotton, linen and silk, swimsuits and scarves, all sporting a palm tree pattern.

Button-down shirts were created with subtle back vents as a sartorial detail, there were cotton and linen polos in a dégradé color scheme, a plaid bomber with a silk lining and a mixed-media sport coat that could easily take the man from day to night. Bertona also designed striped fisherman sweaters in cotton-linen, a cotton-cashmere cardigan with a different color undercollar and pocket trim and an 18-gauge lightweight sweater.

The core collection offered the latest innovations of some of Bugatchi’s most popular items including dress shirts. The brand launched Triple Weave, a collection available in 100s two-ply and 200s two-ply fabrics with a one-piece collar and contrast buttons that is cool to the touch and easy-care.

Another new offering was Aerolinen, a collection of suit separates in a stretch linen viscose with five-pocket trousers, as well as shirt jackets and blousons.

The rest of the line featured staples such as short-sleeve printed linen shirts, sweater polos, a range of pants and a collection of swimwear in French terry, seersucker and other fabrics with matching short-sleeve shirts.
