Teyana Taylor to Host the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York
The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has announced that multi-talented artist Teyana Taylor will host the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards, presented by Amazon Fashion. The highly anticipated event will take place on November 3 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
Taylor—an acclaimed actress, singer, choreographer, and creative director—has recently starred in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another. She’ll also appear in Ryan Murphy’s All’s Fair on Hulu alongside Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, and Glenn Close, as well as Netflix’s The Rip with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon next year.
The evening will bring together fashion’s biggest names and Hollywood stars as presenters. Leslie Bibb and Joseph Altuzarra will present the American Wear Designer of the Year award, with nominees including Rachel Scott for Diotima, Daniella Kallmeyer for Kallmeyer, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, and Wes Gordon for Carolina Herrera.
Benito Skinner and Jennifer Fisher will present the American Accessory Designer of the Year category, featuring Ana Khouri, Catherine Holstein for Khaite, Raul Lopez for Luar, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen for The Row, and Tory Burch.

For the Google Shopping American Emerging Designer of the Year award, presenters Addison Rae and Christopher John Rogers will honor talents such as Taylor Thompson for 5000, Ashlynn Park for Ashlyn, Julian Louie for Aubero, Bernard James, and Colleen Allen.
Nominees for American Menswear Designer of the Year include Mike Amiri, Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta for Eckhaus Latta, the Olsen twins for The Row, Thom Browne, and Willy Chavarria.
Other honorees include Ralph Rucci, who will receive the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award from Thom Browne, and Cynthia Rowley, who will be presented with the Founder’s Award by Julianne Moore. Naomi Campbell will present Pieter Mulier of Alaïa with the International Designer of the Year Award, while Ava DuVernay will honor Jerry Lorenzo of Fear of God with the Innovation Award. Ariana DeBose and Amber Valletta will recognize Donatella Versace with the Positive Change Award.

As previously announced, A$AP Rocky will be celebrated as this year’s Fashion Icon, and Sara Moonves, editor in chief of W Magazine, will receive The Media Award in honor of Eugenia Sheppard.
Jenna Lyons returns as the official CFDA Red Carpet Host, while Amazon Fashion serves as the presenting partner. Additional supporters include Google Shopping, MAC Cosmetics, Krug Champagne, and Lincoln, which will provide event transportation.
The 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards promise a night that celebrates creativity, innovation, and the enduring influence of American fashion.
