For the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, Peet Dullaert continues to strike a balance between boldness and fluidity, blending geometric lines, Preciosa crystal accents, and a distinctly contemporary sensibility. Each piece is entirely hand-sewn — “cousu main” — grounding the collection in craftsmanship while responding to modern realities.

Details and draping focus on the body’s most vulnerable and delicate points, encouraging an intimate, personal interaction with each garment. Creations are cut to reveal the scapula and shoulders, while Preciosa crystals grace the nape of the neck and the calves. In their subtlety, these elements highlight both the body’s striking elegance and its fragility.

“I felt the need for something very clear and sensitive — hyper solutions in the manipulation of sculptural shape, fabric and colour contrast. All together they add to the revelation of fragility that lies beyond the first glance.”

Dullaert works with fabrics known for their volume and presence, including pure silk taffeta, gazar — originally invented for master Cristóbal Balenciaga — plissé, as well as the lightness of voile and tulle. These materials are shaped to function in close synergy with the body, while still allowing the freedom of movement that feels essential today. The cut and weave honour the silhouette, creating constructions that appear effortless yet are highly considered.

The collection also marks the return of Dullaert’s signature technique, used to construct layers of fluid fabrics such as silk crêpe georgette together. The result suggests a single bonded textile — one that breathes and flows through its construction, carried by the wearer’s own personal grace.
