Tailoring played an important role throughout the collection. Oversized wool suits appeared with wide-leg trousers and distinctive botanical-inspired appliqués, while sharply cut blazers were paired with skirts, shorts, and trousers. A sleeveless black blazer with tailored knee-length shorts offered a particularly clean interpretation of the season’s structured aesthetic.

The collection also embraced more relaxed proportions. Cropped tops were styled with high-waisted, wide-leg trousers, while casual pieces such as baseball caps softened the formality of the tailoring. These looks gave the collection an easy, contemporary quality without losing Mossi’s sense of construction.

Dresses brought a more artistic dimension to the collection. One black maxi dress featured bold white brushstroke-like markings and a sheer panel across the midsection, combining a clean column silhouette with an almost hand-painted surface. Another strapless black dress relied on extensive draping, an asymmetric hem, and a tied neckline to create a sculptural yet fluid shape.

Black, grey, white, and muted neutrals formed much of the palette, allowing texture and silhouette to take centre stage. Floral and moss-like appliqués introduced organic elements, while draping and layered construction gave several looks a sense of movement.

The result was a collection that balanced Mossi Traoré’s couture-informed approach with practical wardrobe pieces. Spring 2027 showed how tailoring, draping, botanical details, and relaxed separates could coexist within a collection that feels artistic without becoming disconnected from everyday dressing.
