For Autumn/Winter 2026–2027, Loro Piana framed its collection as a journey — one defined not by destination, but by sensation. Titled Nomadic Reverie, the collection unfolded like memories seen through the blurred window of a moving train, where colour, texture, and emotion merged into a fluid narrative of movement and time.

Presented within the evocative setting of the Cortile della Seta, the experience was immersive from the outset. Poetic verses lined the entrance, recited aloud to establish a rhythmic, almost ancestral mood. Inside, the scenography echoed a vintage train carriage, with warm mahogany panels and brass details, reinforcing the collection’s central metaphor of passage and transition.

Paisley emerged as a key motif — a historic signature of the Maison — reinterpreted across shawls, garments, and layered textiles. The teardrop pattern flowed seamlessly into jacquards, herringbone, tweeds, and subtle animalier, creating visual continuity across the collection. Silhouettes remained true to Loro Piana’s understated elegance: streamlined, layered, and grounded in real-life wearability.

Colour functioned as the collection’s emotional compass. The palette opened in warm tones of ochre and terracotta, moved through sun-washed golds, pinks, and browns, and gradually deepened into greens, anthracite, and midnight blue. Softer, intimate hues — coral, turquoise, calendula, and sky blue — introduced a feminine delicacy, while black and white were reserved for evening pieces crafted in the most luxurious materials.

Iconic designs were thoughtfully revisited. The Rovasenda jacket, inspired by heritage family garments, was reimagined with modern fluidity, while the Maremma jacket took on a youthful bomber silhouette. Knitwear played a central role, offering enveloping comfort, while silk and satin dresses introduced romantic ease through lace embroidery and refined detailing. Accessories echoed the same philosophy: deconstructed softness expressed through leather goods, hats, and enamel jewelry.

Ultimately, Nomadic Reverie was less about travel itself and more about what travel leaves behind — memories, emotions, and quiet transformations. With this collection, Loro Piana reaffirmed its mastery of craftsmanship and material innovation, presenting fashion as an inner journey: timeless, sensory, and deeply human.
