At New York Fashion Week, Khaite once again proved that true glamour doesn’t scream—it whispers. The Spring 2025 Ready-to-Wear show captured the energy of a modern woman who’s strong, sensual, and just a little mysterious. Her look? A seamless blend of 90s minimalism and downtown New York attitude.
Hairstylist Guido Palau described the Khaite woman as “cool, easy, and slightly tough.” That mood carried through every strand of hair and flick of blush. Models walked with slicked-back ponytails that looked as if they were styled moments after a shower—clean, effortless, and intentionally imperfect. To elevate the simplicity, Palau secured each ponytail with a custom gold Khaite hair cuff, turning a relaxed hairstyle into a striking statement.
“The undone look feels casual, but that touch of metal makes it powerful,” Palau said. It was a lesson in contrasts—where softness meets edge, and minimalism meets luxury.
Makeup followed the same philosophy of quiet confidence. Lead artist Diane Kendal (with NARS) focused on raw, luminous skin, avoiding heavy coverage in favor of real texture and glow. The models’ complexions were prepped with Danucera’s Cerabalm, a multitasking skin savior that acts as cleanser, moisturizer, and primer all in one. The result was skin that looked fresh, hydrated, and alive—like it had been kissed by morning light.
A subtle sweep of NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer evened out the tone, while After Glow Blush and Explicit Lipstick in warm coral and rose hues created a barely-there monochromatic flush. Brows, bold and editorially defined, anchored the face—strong but never harsh.
This wasn’t about perfection. It was about authentic beauty—the kind that glows from within and refuses to be overworked.
For Spring 2025, Khaite offered more than just clothes—it offered an attitude. The look was confident, real, and undeniably New York. In an era of filters and facades, Khaite reminded us that the most modern kind of glam is the kind that looks like you just woke up looking that good.
