Dimitra Petsa has built her name around wet-look dressing, and for Spring 2027, she pushed that language into a new realm with Holy Milk, an exploration of motherhood, nourishment, and self-mothering. Her signature body-clinging drapes returned alongside trailing strings, sculptural forms, and twisted cords that evoked umbilical connections.

The show’s most dramatic moment came in the finale, when pregnant singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock appeared in a sculptural wet-look bra designed to release streams of milk-like liquid onto models seated around her. The performance turned Petsa’s fascination with bodily fluids into a visual meditation on motherhood and transformation.

Across the collection, white dominated, appearing in fluid satin dresses, sheer layers, lace, and wet-look jersey, before shifting into beige, deep blue, red, scarlet, and wine tones that suggested the changing stages of the fertility cycle. Dangling silk strings wrapped around waists and skirts, while veiled figures and models carrying babies reinforced the collection’s maternal imagery.

Petsa also explored the idea of nurturing beyond motherhood, placing male models in her signature clinging fabrics as a reflection on the ways women mother their lovers and the people around them. A standout look featured a veiled mother carrying her baby, connected by a long white cord that referenced the umbilical bond.

True to Petsa’s performance-driven approach, Holy Milk blurred the line between clothing and ritual, transforming her familiar wet-look vocabulary into a more intimate story about birth, care, identity, and becoming.
