For its Fall 2025 collection, Advisry designer Keith Herron digs deep into narrative and nuance — crafting a runway that feels more like a film than a fashion show. Titled “4 Moral Tales”, the collection takes inspiration from Four Moral Tales, the film anthology by Éric Rohmer, and uses it as a lens to explore human behaviour, contradiction and identity.

The theme & setting

The presentation was divided into four chapters — Restraint, Temptation, Obsession, and Detachment — each aligning with one of the films in Rohmer’s series. Models emerged from behind coloured curtains, shifting the vibe from one mood to the next: from calm deliberation to charged tension. Herron described the collection as examining “quiet complexities of moral character … subtle gestures, fleeting glances, internal contradictions.” Key design moves

  • The palette balanced everyday streetwear tones with touches of armour-like structure: think leather bombers, cargo trousers, caps, but elevated. The opening piece was a pleated leather bomber, a standout that set the tone for the collection.

  • Tailoring and streetwear codes collided: loose, dragging trousers; oversized collars; checkerboard prints; and a recurring motif of gloves — small details that added narrative weight.

  • Texture was used as character. Faux-fur stoles draped like burdens, sheer dresses layered with fur collars, pearl-studded shirts paired with copper trousers. It wasn’t flashy — it was loaded with intent.
