Swarovski grows 4% in 2023: With a strong Q4 and a 9% increase in revenue, Swarovski was able to achieve a 4% increase in revenue to €1.83 billion in 2023. For the first time since 2019, EBIT before restructuring charges was positive again.

“These strong results further reconfirm the pertinence of the LUXignite strategy and the lasting power of our iconic brand and unique savoir-faire,” stated CEO Alexis Nasard. With a continuous emphasis on outstanding creativity in our product collections and communication, greater investments in our retail network, and key brand moments, “our focus in 2024 will be on the disciplined execution of our strategy,” he added.

Retail sales climbed by 4% and the B2B crystal business by 5% in 2023, while all main product categories, led by jewellery, saw growth in revenue of 6%. This was the case across all of Swarovski’s business lines. The top ten markets for Swarovski saw steady growth, while the brand’s major cities saw a 13% increase in sales. Sales via Swarovski’s directly run e-shop increased by 11%, while sales offline increased by 5% and sales online by 4%. The profitability of Swarovski’s stores had a significant 36% improvement in 2023.

In addition to launching a line of glasses made under license by EssilorLuxottica and establishing a partnership with Skims, Swarovski expanded its flagship stores in Seoul and New York last year.

The Swarovski group includes the abrasives company Tyrolit, the optical device company Swarovski Optik, and the Swarovski Crystal Business (SCB). In more than 150 countries, SCB employs 16,600 people and sells its products through around 6,600 stores, 2,300 of which are directly owned.
