Rokt adds new ANZ, EMEA heads
Rokt adds new ANZ: Marc Allsop has been appointed Head of EMEA and Mick O’Brien has been appointed Head of Australia and New Zealand, two key appointments to the executive team of e-commerce technology company Rokt. Rokt is reiterating its dedication to bolstering its leadership team in order to propel more growth in critical areas with these appointments.
Allsop and O’Brien will be responsible for expanding Rokt’s client base in their respective areas and will answer to Craig Galvin, the chief revenue officer of Rokt.
With a background in payments, loyalty, business-to-business (B2B), and business-to-consumer (B2C) marketing, Allsop has a wealth of expertise as a worldwide commercial leader. Before joining American Express, he was a leader at Aimia and several financial and adtech startups. Allsop was instrumental in cultivating strategic alliances with prominent UK banks and retailers during his time as Chief Commercial Officer at Ecrebo, where he most recently worked.
At the same vein, O’Brien has been a sales leader in the Australian computer sector for about 20 years. He has held the positions of Managing Director of JAPAC at Datorama, a Salesforce firm, and Vice President of Sales, JAPAC, at EasySend. Throughout the Asia-Pacific region, O’Brien has successfully launched new markets and teams.
The new appointments have Galvin’s full support, and he praised their outstanding leadership skills and history of success in establishing solid relationships with clients and leading productive sales teams.
Earlier this year, Rokt made a number of significant hiring to its C-suite, including Srishti Gupta as Chief Product Officer, Craig Galvin as Chief Revenue Officer, and Doug Rozen as Chief Marketing Officer.
Among the notable brands that Rokt has partnered with in the EMEA region are Morrisons, ASOS, Boohoo, and Deliveroo. In addition, the business has just shared news of an expansion of its New York headquarters, an acquisition of Shopify partner AfterSell, and an extension of its cooperation with Red Bull Racing to encourage more female representation in STEM professions around the world and to increase diversity in Formula 1.
