Morabito Paris has appointed Quentin Véron as its Artistic Director, entrusting him with the creative direction of all the brand’s collections.

Véron’s role encompasses overseeing various categories, including leather goods, trunks, travel accessories, and special orders for Morabito. His tenure officially began on Monday, April 1.

Expressing his enthusiasm for joining Morabito, Véron stated, “I’m delighted to be joining the wonderful House of Morabito, which is a legendary name for me and with which I share the values of craftsmanship and exceptional materials. I’m looking forward to working with some of Paris’s top luxury ateliers and offering new contemporary designs alongside the House’s icons, in the near future.”

A graduate of Paris fashion college Studio Berçot, Véron is renowned for his expertise in fur craftsmanship, characterized by his adept use of ancient techniques.

Morabito Paris emphasized Véron’s creativity and sophisticated luxury insight, envisioning his contribution to the brand’s development while infusing a fresh perspective into its nearly 120-year history.

Established in 1905 by Jean-Baptiste Morabito, the House of Morabito Paris gained prominence for its meticulous craftsmanship and specialization in precious materials. Initially focusing on artisan jewelry, it garnered acclaim as “the goldsmith of leather goods,” owing to its mastery of hand-stitching in its Parisian workshops.

Morabito’s legacy includes notable associations with prominent figures such as French First Lady Claude Pompidou, who gifted a crocodile Vendôme bag to the Empress of Japan in 1971. Additionally, the brand’s iconic Orsay travel bag, named after the famed former train station, was favored by Marilyn Monroe.

In addition to its esteemed private clientele, Morabito Paris boasts a roster of iconic patrons, including Maria Callas, Edith Piaf, and Catherine Deneuve.

With Quentin Véron at the helm, Morabito Paris is poised to embark on a new chapter. It will blend heritage craftsmanship with contemporary design to uphold its legacy of luxury and elegance.
