Manolo Blahnik Expands Bluebell Partnership: A major step forward in their joint ventures has been achieved when Manolo Blahnik Group and Bluebell Group, a prominent operator of luxury brands, formed a substantial cooperation. The announcement of this partnership came on Monday, and it involves the formation of a new joint venture to increase the prestigious shoe and accessory brand’s visibility in the Hong Kong market.
Manolo Blahnik will work closely with Bluebell Group, an influential player in the Asian market, to expand the brand in Hong Kong. The latest joint venture is set to significantly promote Manolo Blahnik’s strategic growth ambitions in the Asia Pacific area, building upon their successful partnerships in other important Asian markets since 2016, including as Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
On Friday, a new Manolo Blahnik boutique opened in the Lee Gardens shopping center, and the collaboration went live at the same time. In addition, two further stores are set to open later this year. One of them is a boutique in the Pacific Place retail center, which is expected to open in the last quarter. Details on the second location will be revealed later on.
A stunning geometric design serves as the focal point of the recently opened Lee Gardens store, which was created by Nick Leith-Smith Architecture and Design. The inside walls feature a remarkable square-panelled storage system, which is visible through the curving glass facade. This design concept has been given an oriental twist, drawing inspiration from the original idea presented in the Manolo Blahnik store in London’s Burlington Arcade. Shelves lined with a silk color gradient display traditional, seasonal, and unique products.
