This avant-garde space is an expansive 21,500 square feet and is set to be a holistic center for craftsmanship. At its core, it serves as a physical home for LVMH’s vocational training program, the Institut des Métiers d’Excellence, which has already equipped over 2,700 individuals across seven countries with valuable skills. In a record year, the program welcomed 700 new apprentices.
A Public Engagement for Immersion
One striking aspect of this endeavor is that it is fully open to the public. Visitors have the opportunity to interact with the 280 skilled trades encompassing LVMH’s impressive portfolio of 75 brands. It aims to provide an immersive experience that goes beyond the conventional boundaries of luxury fashion.
Fostering the Craftsmen of Tomorrow
This project signifies more than just an expansive space. LVMH has a forward-thinking vision to employ 22,000 specialized craftspeople globally, with 8,000 of these talents contributing from France. The initiative focuses on fields that extend beyond the conventional, including gem sculpting and eyewear manufacturing, and underscores the importance of these timeless crafts in a digital age. The construction is set to commence in the coming year, with a grand opening anticipated at the close of 2025.
