Former Gucci CEO Bizzarri sets: According to documents seen by Reuters on Tuesday, Marco Bizzarri, a former executive of Gucci, has started a new enterprise. After Bizzarri left the Kering-owned luxury brand, he formally created a new investment firm in February called Nessifashion, with headquarters in Rome.

Bizzarri was instrumental in Gucci’s phenomenal success while he was the house’s creative director. He appointed Alessandro Michele creative director of the brand and oversaw major changes within the organisation after becoming CEO in 2015. Sales at Gucci soared to 9.6 billion euros ($10 billion) in 2019, just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, thanks to Bizzarri’s leadership.

The departure of Alessandro Michele and Bizzarri from Gucci in September was a result of the difficulties Kering was having maintaining revenue growth inside its main luxury brand.

With his most recent venture, Nessifashion, Bizzarri is in a prime position to invest in varied firms and offer strategic advice and assistance. Documents submitted with the Italian Chamber of Commerce show that Nessifashion intends to participate in a number of commercial activities outside investment, maybe including strategic consultancy services. However, the exact goals of the company are not entirely clear.

Bizzarri has chosen not to comment or provide any other facts about Nessifashion, despite Reuters’s inquiries. He is the only administrator and owner of the company through his current holding company, Nessi SRL, which has interests in many businesses, including restaurants and real estate.

The fact that Bizzarri is stepping away from his position as CEO of Gucci to focus on his new company demonstrates his dedication to business and entrepreneurialism. With Nessifashion, he hopes to put his knowledge and skills to use in new projects, all the while looking for ways to expand and innovate in a wide range of industries.
