Casablanca appoints its first marketing director: Casablanca has welcomed Txampi Diz, who left Balmain not long ago, with his extensive background in the high fashion market. Diz will begin her post as Casablanca’s marketing director in April. The company was founded in 2018 in Paris and London by Franco-Moroccan designer Charaf Tajer.

Diz has been in a similar position before; after the Mayhoola fund acquired Balmain in 2017, he was its first marketing director. He was instrumental in building the marketing and communications team and launching groundbreaking entertainment-focused initiatives that increased Balmain’s profile and fueled its expansion throughout his time there.

When Diz was working at KCD in 2007, he introduced the Balmain brand to his boss. Balmain went on to become one of KCD’s most important clients. Before moving to Balmain, he worked his way up to vice president, where he oversaw KCD’s Paris office.

Since its 2019 Paris runway debut, Casablanca has swiftly become a household name in the luxury goods sector, and his vast experience makes him an invaluable asset to the brand. The label’s inspiration comes from retro elegance and sports, especially tennis, and is known for its fashionable items with colorful designs and high-quality materials. Casablanca today offers women’s clothing and accessories through its e-commerce site and more than 300 multi-brand stores across the globe, despite the fact that it first catered to men’s clothing.

Frederick Lukoff, who has been the CEO of Casablanca since June 2023, has faith in Diz’s abilities to help the company succeed. This was also expressed by Charaf Tajer, creative director and creator, who praised Diz for his dedication and skill in the fashion business.

In his new position, Diz is excited about the new collections and fast expansion of Casablanca, which he believes will help the brand achieve its long-term goals. With Diz, CEO Frederick Lukoff, and other important appointments, the company restructured as Casablanca Paris Ltd and secured new investments, demonstrating its dedication to strategic expansion.
