Aptos appoints new CTO: Tushar Sachdev has been named Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Aptos, a prominent commerce solutions provider. In his new role as an executive at Aptos, Sachdev will report directly to CEO Pete Sinisgalli and be instrumental in advancing technological innovation throughout all three of the company’s divisions: Aptos, LS Retail, and Revionics.

Sachdev will be reporting to Jeremy Grunzweig, Aptos General Manager, and will be responsible for both the technology department and product development within the Aptos business unit. With a strong emphasis on meeting the retail market’s demands for high-quality software solutions at an expedited speed, he will handle all elements of core engineering in this role.

Sachdev has extensive expertise in the field thanks to his time spent as Kore’s chief technology officer and executive vice president of analytics. Before joining Kore, he was the CIO of PRGX Global and has worked for several well-known firms like Infosys, Mastek, and NIIT. He is well-versed in digital transformation and next-gen technologies, which gives him the tools to spearhead innovation and manage international teams.

Citing Sachdev’s nearly three decades of experience in technology, engineering depth, and proven track record in building high-growth software firms, Pete Sinisgalli voiced confidence in his hiring. The importance of customer-centric development and the promotion of innovation across business units were highlighted by Sinisgalli as Sachdev’s contributions shaped Aptos’ technological approach.

Aptos, LS Retail, and Revionics are all poised to make strides in the unified commerce and price optimization software markets, and this appointment couldn’t come at a better time for them. Aptos One, a new unified commerce platform that uses cloud-native SaaS, microservices, and APIs, was just announced by the firm. This shows that Aptos is committed to innovation and being ahead of the curve.

In his introduction to Aptos, Sachdev gushed over the company’s pioneering work in omnichannel and point-of-sale systems, as well as its eagerness to adopt innovative delivery methods and structures. He reaffirmed his commitment to bolstering Aptos’ transformation efforts and using technology to improve the company’s products and services.

Aptos increased its credibility as a reliable supplier of unified commerce solutions to Liberty, a high-end London department store, earlier this year. The goal was to improve in-store technology and the consumer experience as a whole.
