Along with retro tennis and performance running shoes.

Right on time for icy wintry weather, New Balance is prepping to release an exclusive collection of sneakers which span its latest performance offerings, retro tennis shoes and modern running.

The New Balance “Cool Skies” pack will be released Thursday, exclusively from New Balance’s e-commerce and physical stores. The foursome includes the hit low-profile 204L model, the 2000s-inspired Abzorb 2010, the throwback T500 court shoe and the FuelCell Rebel v5 performance runner. Each pair in the pack has been colored in a matching blue-and-white color palette, although there is some slight variance between each color description.

The group’s 204L ($120, style code U204L9DF) dons a Dusk Shower/Blue Bird/Reflection colorway which combines an off-white suede upper with blue mesh and a gum rubber outsole. The low-profile model was introduced in 2025 and has become one of the Boston-based athletic company’s most popular new offerings.

The Abzorb 2010 ($160, style code U201089S) dons a Dusk Shower/Timberwolf palette, which combines lighter ripstop and synthetic materials with a blue nubuck, royal blue Abzorb pods and a gum rubber outsole. Like the 204L, the retro-informed Abzorb 2010 was introduced last year alongside the futuristic Abzorb 2000.

The T500 ($110, style code U50068B) is the least technical of the bunch, combining Pearl Gray/Sea Salt on a creamy leather base with blue suede overlays and a full gum rubber midsole and outsole.

The FuelCell Rebel v5 ($145, style code MFCX9HM) is an outlier in more ways than one, as the only performance sneaker of the pack uses a Pearl Gray/Dusk Shower/Blue Bird combination and forgoes the gum rubber seen on the other models.

While each of the models in the group are typically available from other sources, this particular Cool Skies pack is set for exclusive availability through New Balance. It will launch Thursday at 10 a.m. ET from newbalance.com and can also be found at select New Balance stores.
