Natalia Battaglini Promoted to General Manager of Pollini
Aeffe has promoted Natalia Battaglini to the role of general manager at Pollini, the heritage Italian footwear and accessories brand. The Rimini-based fashion group—owner of Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, and Philosophy—announced the promotion in an official statement.
“Natalia has been an integral part of our organisation for years, demonstrating strong leadership, a deep understanding of the brand, and consistently delivering excellent results,” Aeffe said. “Her appointment reflects our commitment to continuity, excellence, and respect for Pollini’s values and tradition.”
Battaglini joined Pollini in 2018, where she served as head of style and merchandising for shoes and leather goods. Prior to joining Aeffe’s portfolio, she spent five years in Valentino’s merchandising division. Between 2009 and 2023, she also worked as a market analyst and merchandiser for the Zegna Group. She earned a degree in fashion management from Bocconi University and later completed an Executive MBA at the Bologna Business School.
Aeffe hopes Battaglini’s leadership will help reinvigorate Pollini amid ongoing financial challenges. Earlier in October, Pollini and Aeffe jointly applied for admission to Italy’s negotiated crisis settlement procedure.
The group recently postponed the approval of its nine-month financial results, initially planned for November 14. Preliminary figures reviewed by the board showed consolidated revenues of €155 million—down 25.1% at constant exchange rates and 25.4% at current rates.
