Maison & Objet, one of the world’s leading interior design and lifestyle trade fairs, will return to Paris from January 15 to 19, 2026. The event will take place at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre and marks the first major design gathering of the year for industry professionals.
The January edition will revolve around the theme “Past Reveals Future,” which explores how heritage, craftsmanship and historical references continue to influence contemporary design and shape future creative directions. Organisers say the theme encourages brands and designers to reinterpret the past through modern materials, techniques and lifestyles.
Spanning seven halls, the fair will bring together a wide international mix of exhibitors across furniture, décor, lighting, textiles, tableware and home accessories. Dedicated sections will also cover fashion and accessories, jewellery, fragrance, wellness, gifts and playful lifestyle concepts, reflecting the increasingly blurred lines between interior design, fashion and everyday living.

Signature and Projects will spotlight high-end design, bespoke creations and hospitality-focused concepts aimed at interior architects, developers and luxury clients. These areas are designed to showcase statement pieces, custom solutions and innovative approaches to residential and commercial spaces.
The Decor & Design section will focus on furniture and decorative objects for the home, offering visitors a comprehensive overview of current trends, materials and color palettes. From contemporary silhouettes to more classic influences, the area is expected to highlight how brands are balancing innovation with timeless appeal.
Craftsmanship will remain a key pillar of the fair, with a strong presence of artisans and makers celebrating traditional skills, handwork and material expertise. This section emphasizes the growing value placed on authenticity, durability and human-centered design in a market increasingly shaped by mass production.
Sustainability will also feature prominently. The Collectif Design Écoresponsable, located in Halls 1 and 2, will bring together manufacturers specializing in eco-designed materials and responsible production processes. The initiative underlines Maison & Objet’s ongoing effort to promote environmentally conscious design without sacrificing creativity or quality.
Fashion & Accessories will present a curated selection of brands offering clothing, bags, jewellery and lifestyle pieces that align with the fair’s broader aesthetic vision. The category continues to grow as buyers seek cohesive lifestyle concepts that connect personal style with interior environments.
Fragrance and Wellness sections will focus on products designed to enhance wellbeing at home, including scented objects, skincare-adjacent lifestyle items and wellness accessories. These categories reflect continued consumer interest in creating calming, sensory-driven living spaces.
In parallel with the main trade fair, Maison & Objet In the City will run from January 14 to 19. This complementary program invites visitors to explore a curated selection of Paris-based design stores, galleries, studios and showrooms. Around 100 addresses across the city will participate, offering a more immersive experience of Paris’s design scene.
The event is expected to attract thousands of international visitors, including buyers, designers, interior architects, retailers and media. Nearly 1,200 journalists are anticipated to attend, reinforcing the fair’s role as a major platform for global design visibility and trend forecasting.
For exhibitors, Maison & Objet remains a key launchpad for new collections and concepts, as well as an important opportunity to connect with international markets. For visitors, it offers a comprehensive overview of where design, décor and lifestyle trends are heading at the start of the year.
With its January return, Maison & Objet once again positions Paris at the center of the global design conversation, setting the tone for creativity, innovation and the evolving art of living in 2026.
