Ludovic de Saint Sernin Is Zara’s New Designer Collaborator

French designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin, once dubbed an “overnight celebrity favorite” by Vogue, has teamed up with Zara for a new global collaboration set to launch this month.

Following a wave of red carpet moments — with stars like Anya Taylor-Joy, Mia Goth, Laura Harrier, and Ella Hunt wearing his dazzling fall 2024 crystal and leather creations — de Saint Sernin caught the eye of the Spanish fashion giant. A year later, Ludovic de Saint Sernin x Zara is ready to hit stores.

The capsule includes clothing, shoes, and accessories that echo his signature sensual aesthetic — think lace-up details, sheer fabrics, braided leather, and metal accents. For this line, his trademark eyelets have been reimagined as sleek flat studs.

The collaboration arrives as de Saint Sernin balances projects at both ends of fashion’s spectrum. While designing a one-off haute couture collection for Jean Paul Gaultier for spring 2025, he was also working with Zara on pieces meant for everyone. “At Gaultier, I was designing for a happy few,” he said. “At Zara, it’s global — I want to reach a bigger audience.”

He believes his energy and connection with young, diverse communities made him the right fit. “I’m probably the youngest designer they’ve worked with on this kind of project,” he noted. “And my community — people who relate to my experience — excites them.”

The campaign, shot in New York by Gordon von Steiner, stars Alex Consani and Amelia Gray alongside de Saint Sernin himself. New York holds special meaning for the designer — his fall 2024 show there, created in collaboration with the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation, was what first propelled his brand into the spotlight.

“I even brought my mom to the video shoot,” he shared. “She tried on the clothes and said, ‘I can finally wear LdSS.’ That’s exactly the point.”

Ludovic de Saint Sernin x Zara will be available starting November 17, 2026, at zara.com and select stores worldwide, with prices ranging from $25.90 to $1,399.
