Meghan Markle launches new lifestyle brand: It would appear that Meghan Markle, wife of Prince Harry of Britain, is creating a lifestyle business called after their beachfront California house.

 

Without prior notice, American Riviera Orchard’s Instagram and website went up on Thursday, both of which include a golden crest for the new enterprise.

Montecito, a celebrity enclave in Santa Barbara, frequently called the American Riviera, is where the pair has lived since 2020, and the phrase appeared on the logo.

Just “by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex.” That’s all the bio says on the social media profile.

A spokeswoman for the duchess told AFP that she is involved with the new project, but she did not elaborate.

On the surface, American Riviera Orchard seems to be a label focused on home goods and entertaining.

A grainy, vintage-style promotional video featuring Meghan Markle tending to floral arrangements and baking in a kitchen followed Thursday’s debut.

“The first to know about products, availability, and updates from American Riviera Orchard.” was the promise made to those who joined a mailing list.

American prince Harry and his wife Meghan left the royal family in 2020 and settled in California.

Since then, there has been no post from their official @sussexroyal Instagram account.

Prior to their marriage, Meghan Markle shut down her personal social media accounts and her previous lifestyle blog.

The pair has been quite active in the media industry in recent years.

They had a series of high-profile outbursts criticizing the British royal family, including a documentary series on Netflix and Harry’s best-selling memoirs “Spare.”

Last year, after just one episode, the couple’s exclusive podcast arrangement with Spotify ended.

An animated series that Meghan Markle had produced was also removed from Netflix.

A January statement from a streaming giant executive, however, dispelled rumors that the couple was working on a movie and other projects together, saying that they were still “in very early development.”
