According to Kimmel, Rodgers is rumored to be on Kennedy’s shortlist, alongside former wrestler and Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura, both known for their stance against vaccinations.
However, Kimmel expressed doubt about Rodgers and Ventura’s suitability for the role of running mates, likening them to backup options on a reality show like “The Masked Singer.”
Kimmel also highlighted Rodgers’ ongoing involvement in football with the New York Jets, despite their lackluster performance, humorously questioning how many losing teams Rodgers can affiliate himself with simultaneously.
The Kennedy campaign is expected to reveal their choice for running mate on March 26th.
