Interparfums SA expects its full-year 2026 sales to reach the upper end of its forecast after stronger summer trading helped lift third-quarter revenue and boost investor confidence.

The French fragrance group, which manages licensed perfume brands including Jimmy Choo, Coach and Montblanc, reported sales of 265.5 million euros for the three months ended Sept. 30. Revenue increased 4.8 percent year over year at reported exchange rates and 4.6 percent at constant exchange rates.

“Our activity regained more favorable momentum over the summer, allowing us to target the top of our sales guidance of around 870 million euros for 2026 as a whole,” said Philippe Benacin, Interparfums’ chairman and chief executive officer.

Asia Drives Third-Quarter Recovery

Asia was a key contributor to the improvement, with the region returning to growth following a mixed start to the year. Stronger demand in China helped drive regional sales gains of nearly 32 percent in the third quarter. Across the first nine months of 2026, sales in Asia rose 8 percent.

Despite the positive momentum, Benacin said the company remained cautious about the final quarter, citing an uncertain international environment, particularly in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

He also highlighted the importance of the U.S. market during the holiday season. American fragrance sales are typically concentrated in November and December, making the final months of the year especially significant for the group’s performance.

Benacin added that the favorable response from commercial partners to the company’s 2027 launch plan had strengthened its confidence in future growth

Jimmy Choo, Coach and Montblanc Lead Sales

Among Interparfums’ largest licensed fragrance brands, Jimmy Choo generated third-quarter sales of 74.1 million euros. Coach followed with 65.7 million euros, while Montblanc recorded 61.9 million euros.

The company’s shares responded positively to the updated outlook. At 1:10 p.m. Central European Time on Wednesday, Interparfums stock was trading at 33.74 euros, up 4 percent from the previous day.

Nine-Month Revenue Remains Below Last Year

Despite the third-quarter improvement, Interparfums’ cumulative performance for the first nine months of 2026 remained below the previous year’s level.

Sales totaled 679.8 million euros, representing a 2.9 percent decline at reported exchange rates and a smaller decrease of 0.7 percent at constant exchange rates.

The company is now looking toward the final quarter and the holiday shopping period to help deliver full-year sales of approximately 870 million euros, the upper end of its current guidance.
