Boston-based investment firm Gordon Brothers has taken a majority stake in the Rachel Zoe brand’s intellectual property and consumer business, marking a strategic move to expand the lifestyle label’s reach and product footprint. The transaction places Rachel Zoe’s fashion and lifestyle business which includes apparel, home, fragrance, eyewear and children’s products under the operational leadership of Gordon Brothers, a firm known for investing in and revitalising iconic consumer brands. Zoe will remain a significant shareholder, serving as Founder, Chief Creative Officer and a member of the board of directors. 

Zoe launched her namesake collection in 2011, expanding from her roots as a celebrity stylist and fashion authority into a broad lifestyle enterprise. Over the years, the Rachel Zoe brand has extended into multiple categories, drawing on the founder’s media presence, stylist background and cultural influence to build a diversified product portfolio.
