American athletic footwear and apparel company Saucony added professional runner Vanessa Fraser to its roster of athletes on Friday.

The 27-year-old Fraser, a seven-time All-American at Stanford University, owns indoor personal bests in the following events: the 3,000-meter run (8:51), the 5,000-meter run (14:48), the 10,000-meter run (31:52), and the half marathon (1:11:00).

Fraser, who became a professional runner in 2018, trains in Boulder, Colorado with the distance running team Team Boss and now resides in San Francisco.

Fraser will be competing and training in the Endorphin PRO 4, part of the Michigan-based brand’s Endorphin collection, which is sold at saucony.com and several retailers around the world.

“Vanessa joins the Saucony roster as a world-class talent with unlimited potential,” stated Ted FitzPatrick, VP of product and sports marketing at Saucony.

She is eager to continue her record-breaking performance on the track and transfer that pace to the roads. Vanessa personifies the excitement of passing on the transformative power of running to younger generations, which will increase the number of girls and women who participate in and excel at our sport. In her profession in private equity financing, Vanessa mirrors the intensity she displays on the track and highways. Discipline, ambition, resilience, and adaptability are essential for success in both athletics and the financial sector, and Vanessa possesses all of these qualities with remarkable equilibrium. Having her become a part of the Saucony family is something that the entire team is thrilled about.

The American performance running company Saucony has been around since 1898 and prides itself on being a combination of “innovation, style and culture.” Along with Sperry Top-Sider and Keds, the brand was part of Wolverine World Wide in 2012.

Despite continuing to turn around sales difficulties following reducing its operations during 2023, parent company Wolverine World Wide reported in February that fourth-quarter revenue plummeted 20.8% to $526.7 million in its most recent market update.
