Nomination Accelerates Global Expansion as Sales Surge 30%

Italian jewelry brand Nomination, famed for its modular stainless steel and gold bracelets, is celebrating a remarkable growth streak as it approaches its 40th anniversary in 2027. With soaring turnover and a clear vision for retail expansion, the Florentine company continues to solidify its reputation in the world of accessible luxury.

“2024 was an extraordinary year for us,” shared Alessandro Gensini, Marketing and Communications Director — and son of founder Paolo — in an interview with FashionNetwork.com. “We exceeded our expectations, surpassing €60 million in turnover, up 30% from the previous year. We’re confident about continued consolidation in 2025.”

Nomination’s success spans all product lines, with particular enthusiasm surrounding its iconic modular bracelets and collectible links. As Gensini points out, soaring gold prices have only amplified the appeal of Nomination’s approach: offering young consumers customizable, high-quality pieces crafted in Italy at an accessible price point.

The company’s production figures highlight its momentum — Nomination manufactures between 15,000 and 18,000 links daily at its Florence headquarters and, last year alone, sold an impressive 3.25 million links alongside 850,000 pieces of fashion jewelry.

On the retail side, Nomination is making bold moves globally. In 2023, it launched nine new standalone stores in key locations including Sofia, Dubai, Glasgow, and several cities in Türkiye and South Africa. Building on this momentum, further openings are already in the pipeline for both the UK and Türkiye before the end of the year.

Looking ahead, Gensini outlined additional strategies for 2025: a focus on expanding shop-in-shop partnerships with independent jewelers, the development of new collections and symbols, and a refreshed communications campaign launching this September. The campaign will celebrate the brand’s deep roots in Florence, its family-owned heritage, and its role in innovating the jewelry sector.

Social media and collaborations with selected content creators will play an even greater role, as Nomination seeks to reinforce its image as the voice of “accessible luxury” for a new generation of style-savvy consumers.

In a jewelry market increasingly defined by authenticity and craftsmanship, Nomination’s blend of tradition, innovation, and attainable elegance positions it for even greater success in the years to come.
