Net-A-Porter launches Carolina Herrera capsule, Mr Porter links with Dries Van Noten
Net-A-Porter launches Carolina Herrera capsule: With the announcement of two significant partnerships for the summer season, YNAP’s high-end full-price sites, Net-A-Porter and Mr. Porter, are stepping up their collaboration efforts.
Carolina Herrera and Net-A-Porter have collaborated on a capsule collection that mixes ready-to-wear with jewelry and accessories in an effort to capture the spirit of the French Riviera. Frivolous dresses with off-the-shoulder accents, ruffles that fall to the floor, and tulip prints reminiscent of a watercolor painting are featured in this collection. A cotton garment with royal blue stripes that reflect the water’s movement is another standout feature. Carolina Herrera’s Creative Director Wes Gordon made sure the brand’s products were colorful, fashionable, and easy to wear without compromising on beauty and refinement. With Princess Olympia of Greece at its center, this wear-now capsule presents a contemporary take on high summer, drawing inspiration from vibrant sunsets and outdoor indulging.
However, for the men’s high summer 2024 collection, Mr. Porter has partnered exclusively with Dries Van Noten’s online store. Given Van Noten’s choice to step aside from his label, this partnership is especially notable because it represents one of the last chances to acquire products developed by the founder. Among the three unique styles chosen for Mr. Porter’s collection are a linen mix jacket with two breast pockets and a matching pair of pants and shorts in a cobalt blue shade. A celebration of airiness and fluidity with an understated masculine grace, the collection is the pinnacle of summertime sophistication.
Partnerships like these highlight Net-A-Porter and Mr. Porter’s dedication to satisfying the varied interests of contemporary fashionistas by providing them with unique and alluring products.
