The famous designer chose the Great Hall, also known as Cipriani Broadway, a historic structure in Manhattan close to Wall Street, the epitome of American financial prowess, for his Fall/Winter 2024 collection.

Smith discussed the late 80s and early 90s fusion of sartorial western American style as his inspiration in an interview that he gave to FashionNetwork.com after the event. He imagined his future wife as a sophisticated Wall Street vixen who reveled in exploring daywear while exuding power.

The show began with a stunning pencil skirt in the manner of thigh-high split trouser pants with a pony skin pattern in caramel tones and a matching blouse that was evocative of a traditional men’s button-down. The models sashayed to a music selection that Smith had made with great care, creating an atmosphere of confidence and charm.
