Lanvin launches fashion-meets: Lanvin launches fashion-meets: The newest venture from Lanvin is a partnership with the world-renowned French dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied, which mixes commercial product with artistic expression in a seamless way.

Featuring the dancer in the brand’s gorgeous dress and shoes—both of which are for sale—the collaboration unfolds in a short film that can be found on the brand’s webstore and social media platforms.

In collaboration with the brand, Millepied—renown for his blending of modern dance with classical ballet—has crafted a polished and elegant dance performance, showcasing the seamless integration of the two art forms.

Dancer Coline Omasson plays the part of the classic Lanvin woman in the video, showcasing the house’s hallmark Ballerina shoes and Charmeuse dresses. Her graceful motions harmonize with the music and clothes in a way that is uniquely French, expressing refinement, originality, and elegance. Millepied says that her performance was a beautiful, transient moment when her inner self expressed via her craft.

This partnership highlights the Maison’s dedication to creativity and expression while also paying tribute to label founder Jeanne Lanvin’s love of music, as exemplified by her daughter’s musical abilities. It is a reflection of Millepied’s groundbreaking dance technique and Lanvin’s illustrious history of fashion design, in which the lines between the two fields blur.
