Grosvenor signs up Bulgari: Grosvenor, best known for its vast West End real estate holdings in London, has created a splash in the global business world by partnering with the world-famous Italian luxury jewelry and accessory label Bulgari. An excellent location at 200 Grant Avenue in San Francisco’s Union Square district is being leased for an extended period of time in this arrangement.

A prominent downtown building located in Union Square, 200 Grant Avenue is being reconfiguration by Grosvenor’s North American property business to meet the specific needs of Bulgari. The area’s status as a premier location for high-end retail will be further cemented by the brand’s occupancy of more than 9,000 square feet spread over various levels.

The growth of Chanel and the introduction of prestigious watch brands like Patek Philippe and Breitling are among the recent developments in the area, and this announcement follows in their footsteps. The existence of Bulgari is evidence of the increasing self-assurance and wealth of the Union Square neighborhood, according to Nathan Lundell, VP of asset management at Grosvenor in San Francisco.

According to Bulgari’s Global Sales & Retail Vice President Vincenzo Pujia, who is very excited about the brand’s expansion in San Francisco, the new location is strategically important as the city has a thriving retail market. He thinks Bulgari would do well to exhibit its brand and interact with clients in the city center.

The real estate firm that represented Grosvenor in the deal, CBRE, lauded the site as being among the most prominent and fruitful retail junctions in the West Coast. Both Grant Avenue and the Post Street corridor will benefit from Bulgari’s presence, according to Laura Barr, Americas Retail Leader at CBRE.

St. John Knits is the latest high-profile tenant to sign a lease at 245 Post Street, one of Grosvenor’s Union Square properties. Grosvenor is dedicated to creating a vibrant and successful retail environment in San Francisco’s Union Square, and they plan to open in the early fall of 2024.
