Plan C to star at next Pitti Uomo with menswear debut

 Plan C, an Italian women’s ready-to-wear label, has quickly become a major player in the world of high fashion. Carolina Castiglioni and her family, who were crucial in Marni, launched the label in 2018. Since then, it has become highly acclaimed, attracting approximately 200 top multibrand retailers worldwide and opening four monobrand stores.

 

Plan C is embarking on a significant new chapter in its evolution as it ventures into the realm of menswear, a strategic move that underscores the brand’s adaptability and forward-thinking approach. The highly anticipated menswear collection will make its debut at the renowned Pitti Uomo show in Florence from June 11th to 14th, marking a pivotal moment in the brand’s history.

 

 

In the esteemed Sala delle Grotte hall at the Fortezza da Basso venue, the menswear range from Plan C will be unveiled on the first day of the festival. Carolina Castiglioni, along with her father Gianni and brother Giovanni, has meticulously crafted the label’s character, selecting a range of modern womenswear basics with a focus on accessories, and cultivating partnerships within the art world.

 

Plan C’s distinctive aesthetic takes center stage in the first menswear collection of 2025, a fusion of workwear, sportswear, and tailored luxury. Showcasing garments with exquisite finishings and premium materials, the collection features a vibrant color palette and tactile fabrics, from cotton poplin to high-tech textiles and various wool variations. The collection’s accessory offerings epitomize effortless coordination and versatility, with a wide range of purses, backpacks, sandals, and more.

 

Plan C will showcase several pieces from its next womenswear collection at Pitti Uomo, adding to the proof that the label is dedicated to being creative and innovative in all of its products.

 

Carolina Castiglioni’s work was praised by Lapo Cianchi, head of communication and events at Pitti Immagine. Cianchi emphasized the label’s modern identity and how it skillfully combines fashion, art, and design in an inspirational way.

 

Plan C’s success story is not confined to its home country. The brand has made significant strides in the global market, with a strong presence in key fashion hubs like Japan and South Korea. In Japan, the brand boasts three locations in Tokyo, while in South Korea, it has a flagship store in the prestigious Galleria department store in Seoul. This global expansion, coupled with a robust e-commerce platform, has further enhanced the brand’s appeal to discerning consumers worldwide.
