Mugler launches first footwear collection: The debut of Mugler’s inaugural footwear collection under Casey Cadwallader’s creative supervision ultimately brought Casey’s six-year ambition to life. This represents a major milestone for Mugler’s venture into footwear, as Cadwallader has previously made shoes for the brand’s runway shows and worked with Jimmy Choo on a capsule collection in Spring/Summer 2022.

An assortment of mules, pumps, booties, boots, and sandals characterized by sharp, angular designs make up Mugler’s footwear collection. Cadwallader has rethought and updated the label’s distinctive codes, taking cues from Mugler’s famous corsets; the outcome is designs that are unique, seductive, and attractive. Notably, the collection showcases chrome stiletto heels in two lengths—95mm and 55mm—decorated with a distinctive custom-designed heel called the ‘fang heel.’

In addition to providing stability, the ‘fang heel’ gives the shoes a futuristic look with its distinctive curving, angular, and flared form. An elongated profile is emphasized by the tapering tip that finishes off each model.

Sleek boots made of black knitted fabric, metallic-tip sandals with delicate leather straps, and mules in washed denim, semi-sheer resin-like fabric resembling tulle, and leather are all part of the collection.

This first footwear collection establishes the foundation for future growth in this area by remaining faithful to Mugler’s signature style and embracing Cadwallader’s creative vision.
