Marcolin opens showroom in Manhattan
The world leader in eyeglasses, Marcolin, has opened a shop in the center of Manhattan. Its portfolio includes licensed labels like Christian Louboutin, Max Mara, and Tom Ford in addition to its own house brands.
Navone Associati, a Milan-based design studio, created the space, which is housed on the 19th level of 270 Madison Ave. and has both offices in addition to a sizable section devoted to displaying Marcolin’s brands.
On Thursday, March 14, the showroom had a private opening ceremony and invited members of the US press, devoted clients, esteemed partners, and delegates from numerous institutions.
Specifically, visitors might take advantage of an immersive experience. An augmented reality project that had been unveiled a few months earlier allowed guests to take a virtual tour of Marcolin’s manufacturing facilities in Italy, while a dedicated “creative room” demonstrated the intricate process of prototype design and creation, highlighting Marcolin’s dedication to craftsmanship.
The well-known Italian chef Alessandro Borghese created a traditional Italian cocktail for each guest to enjoy as a perfect way to cap off the immersive experience.
The Marcolin Group, which has 15 companies in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia in addition to a joint venture in the United Arab Emirates and more than 150 international distribution partners, has reached a new milestone with the opening of its showroom in New York.
