Teri List was appointed to the board of directors of Lululemon Athletica on Tuesday, with immediate effect.

List has managed departments in charge of finance, accounting, legal, real estate, and information technology while holding positions as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Gap Inc., Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Kraft Food Group.

The finance professional worked for Procter & Gamble for almost 20 years, rising to the position of SVP and treasurer before taking on those responsibilities. She started working at Deloitte in public accounting.

Martha Morfitt, the board chair, stated, “Teri’s impressive experience as a business leader and board member for large, global companies will add great value as we continue to grow Lululemon around the world.”

“We are happy to have Teri join the Lululemon board of directors and appreciate her wealth of experience and wisdom.”

List is a board member of Lululemon in addition to Microsoft, Visa, and Danaher Corporation.

Jonathan Cheung was appointed as Lululemon’s new global creative director earlier this year.
