The Crocs-owned company, which reportedly has $950 million in sales and is available in over 85 countries, opens 191 UK retail locations and introduces a website tailored to each region. In Ireland, partners include Paul Byron, Schuh, and Kurt Geiger.

The Wally and the Wendy are among the brand’s best-selling models. “Differentiated by their fitted elastic laces, removable foam insole, and extremely lightweight outsole, making them incredibly versatile, easy on/off shoes – perfect for a variety of wearing occasions,” the company claims. It manufactures “the most insanely comfortable and lightweight shoes” for men, women, and children. The starting price is £59.99.

Kelly Cortina, HeyDude’s Senior Vice-President and Global Chief Product and Merchandising Officer, stated: “Our internal data indicates that, on average, after trying a pair, customers will buy four pairs for themselves. We are sure that the UK market will connect with our brand and appreciate the classic design and ease of use of our products.
