In 2021, Dover Street Market set up shop in Paris, France. The 3,500 square meter Marais building had been a showroom and office space for the company at the time. Brand Development, an arm of DSM that supports up-and-coming brands including Vaquera, Airei, and ERL, is also housed on the premises.

The building at 35-37 previously housed a number of projects and partnerships selected by the co-founders of DSM before it was transformed into a full-fledged concept shop. It used to be a famous bookstore that dates back to 1909, but in the last two years it has played host to pop-up stores, art workshops, runway events, and more.

Along with the Dover Street Parfums Market, which caters to beauty fans, the Dover Street Little Market, a store devoted to new designers, has recently acquired a temporary home at 35-37. The Marais district now has a more lively DSM presence because to these ventures.

At the same time, Comme des Garçons, which is headed by Rei Kawakubo, strengthened its presence in Paris by moving its flagship store to a street-front location at 56 rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré in the fall of 2023.
