Brit-luxe brand Sunspel opens US store: Continuing one of its busiest seasons ever, Sunspel opened a second US location for the British luxury brand on March 15.

On Sunset Boulevard in Silver Lake, the company launched its first location in Los Angeles. The launch is the next phase of its winder US development push and will come after the success of its first West Coast store, which opened in November of last year at the Marin Country Mart north of San Francisco.

The whole menswear collection from the brand, including the Riviera Polo Shirt worn by Daniel Craig in the James Bond film and the Made-in-England T-shirt, is available at the new store.

Swimwear, undergarments, and premium casualwear are the store’s main areas of concentration.

As the company opened its third location in as many years and its fourth altogether, Sunspel CEO Raul Verdicchi celebrated the company’s entry into the center of Los Angeles, saying that the “milestone confirms our commitment towards the US market.” The elegant yet laid-back atmosphere of Silver Lake makes it the perfect venue for introducing LA to our British classic luxury style and iconic items, like our handcrafted Sunspel classic T-shirt.

The brand recently announced a partnership with Nigel Cabourn. At the 2018 Walpole Awards, the brand received the Made in the UK award for “demonstrating a strong commitment to the development of British manufacturing and accelerated expansion of the brand outside of the UK.”
