Rixo preps for NYC retail: With the opening of its first brick-and-mortar store in America, womenswear phenomenon Rixo is about to create a splash on the other side of the Atlantic. To kick off their grandiose intentions to dominate the American market, the company will debut a three-month pop-up shop in the bustling hub of SoHo, New York City, on April 22nd.

Perched on the lively SoHo streets, the pop-up will provide a carefully chosen assortment of Rixo’s famous ready-to-wear outfits, formalwear, and accessories, featuring the newest SS24 styles in addition to the cherished core line. Additionally, guests to the NYC pop-up will have the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind items designed only for the event.

The irresistible part of the pop-up is the opportunity to step into Rixo’s universe and experience the brand’s vivid patterns, figure-flattering cuts, and luxurious fabrics for yourself. In order to make things even more special, Rixo has planned a number of activities just for the #humansofrixo community in New York City. These include anything from private style sessions and thought-provoking panel discussions to exclusive shopping parties and chances to meet Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey, the creators of the company.

Casa Angulo, established by Adalberto Angulo Sosa and Jennifer Paccione Angulo, is a well-known multidisciplinary design studio; the company partnered with them to create the temporary location. Their goal was to incorporate Rixo’s unique logo into the lively fabric of New York City, taking cues from the colorful energy of Angulo Sosa’s hometown in Havana, Cuba, and the label’s rich color palette.

Launching its largest-ever shop-in-shop concession in London, Rixo’s London endeavor was a smashing success, and now the brand is launching a pop-up in New York City.
