Bershka gets inspired by soccer with a collaboration with Major League Soccer
Bershka gets inspired by soccer : With a new collection that combines sporty and nostalgic trends, Bershka has expanded its long history of collaborations to include the world of soccer.
With an urban vibe, this new capsule collection from Bershka is now available online and in some locations. The three leading Major League Soccer clubs—Inter Miami CF, LA Galaxy, and New York Red Bulls—are proudly showcased in the modern cuts. The collection features unique design elements such as team logos, colors, and patterns inspired by soccer jerseys. A wide selection of goods is available in the collection, from denim shorts priced at €45.99 to an oversized T-shirt reflecting the trademark white of the New York squad priced at €17.99. Polos, sweatshirts, midi skirts, and technical jerseys inspired by team uniforms are all part of the collection, which is made to suit men, women, and unisex tastes.
A lot of brands have jumped on the soccer bandwagon before. Another Inditex label headed by Marta Ortega, Pull&Bear, released a capsule collection a month ago as part of its STWD urban style line that drew inspiration from the look of soccer jerseys from the 1990s.
Bershka, a prominent member of the Inditex brand portfolio, is part of a family of renowned fashion labels that includes Pull&Bear, Zara, Zara Home, Oysho, Lefties, Stradivarius, and Massimo Dutti. The company was founded in 1998. As of the end of 2023, Bershka’s internet channel was active in about 220 markets, and the company ran 856 locations (including franchises). Sales for the brand’s fiscal year 2023 were €2.621 billion, a rise of 10% from the previous year.
A rising trend in the fashion industry is that labels like Bershka are drawing inspiration from the world of sports to launch innovative and fashionable collections. This change not only aligns the brand with the ever-changing urban fashion environment, characterized by its fast-paced trends and diverse influences, but also increases its appeal to a wider audience.
