Lee and Diesel launch capsule collection: Diesel Loves is the new initiative by denim industry heavyweights Lee and Diesel, and it is a capsule collection that will be available worldwide.

The capsule collection, named “Diesel Loves Lee,” is a line of denim made from the businesses’ unsold fabric remnants. The artisanal denim capsule jeans are designed with either Diesel denim on the front or Lee on the rear.

An exclusive sneak peek in Japan and Europe followed the December announcement of the cooperation.

According to Simon Fisher, managing director of Lee Europe, “Lee is proud to be part of this transformative initiative; it reflects our shared commitment to driving meaningful change by uniting our expertise.” So the statement goes.

Lee and Diesel reimagine rivalry through their capsule collection, which places an emphasis on innovation. When we band together, we can make a difference—one pair of denim jeans at a time.

The capsule underwent extensive development to incorporate different fits, treatments, and sizes in a seamless manner; as a result, two straight fits for men and two boot/flare styles for women were produced. As a nod to Diesel and Lee’s shared history, each item has distinctive detailing like raw-cut and needle-stitched side seams and bespoke trim.

Diesel Loves is an initiative that seeks to combat the problems of overproduction in the fashion industry and encourage meaningful brand relationships; the denim collaboration is the first chapter of this program.

“It’s easier to create something new than it is to repurpose a garment, especially when customers want it to look exactly like they do online,” said Glenn Martens, creator of Diesel Loves Lee and Diesel’s creative director.

The impact of even the smallest actions can be profound. We are constantly urging people to take action, and Diesel Loves Lee is the perfect way to get things started. We are two denim behemoths who sell essentially the same thing under different labels, but we’re putting aside our differences and working together to combat consumer waste and create something lovely.

The exclusive capsule will be sold in limited quantities and can be found on the websites of both Diesel and Lee, in addition to some select stores across the world. The denim items are priced at 350 euros for the suggested retail price.
