Harrods Unveils Additional 175th Anniversary: The 175th anniversary celebrations at Harrods, a posh London department store, began last month with a partnership with Burberry and will continue throughout the year with various activations and goods.

Along with commemorative merchandise, events, and experiences, it boasts a “spectacular” exterior display that features flags, a light show, unique window displays, and more.

“A campaign of meaningful moments, encompassing the most iconic elements of the Harrods brand – from its famous Harrods bears to its iconic façade, its exceptional service to exclusive commemorative collaboration; all culminating in a showstopping Christmas” is what it’s offering from July through December.

When put into reality, what does that imply? Beginning next week at 8:00 PM, the external lights of the business will be illuminated with a light-show that will light up the Knightsbridge sky. The lighting system had a “dramatic overhaul” not long ago, with all 3,890 lights replaced with LED bulbs, which are 80% more efficient.

After February’s British celebration at Harrods, which served as the anniversary’s “commencement moment,” a less brand-specific event centered around the store itself will take place in March. The Harrods Lounge will be located in the store’s ground-floor exhibition windows. This in-store room is specifically designed to assist clients with a wide range of needs, including discovering the best restaurants, events, gifts, and ways to maximize their Harrods Rewards points and privileges.

There will be photo ops for customers, a life-size Harrods bear, and contests.
