CFCL set to launch debut eyewear : Collaborating with Japanese eyewear company 999.9 (Four Nines), apparel brand CFCL will introduce their first range of eyeglasses on April 10.

Debuting during the Spring/Summer 2024 Paris Fashion Week as part of the VOL.7 collection, the collection dubbed ‘CFCL Eyewear’ made its premiere. Made in Sabae, the epicenter of Japanese eyewear manufacturing, these shades evoke the modern silhouette of CFCL knitwear, famous for its signature single-thread design.

The ‘Round’ and ‘Hexagon’ models are part of the first collection and come in three colorways and two sizes, with some even including mirrored lenses. Optical options for the 45-46 mm versions will also be available in 999.9.

Streamlined construction with minimal parts—like the absence of nose pads—is one of the innovative design aspects boasted by each model. Incorporating 999.9’s signature ‘Gyaku-R hinge’ into the design of the temples gives them a clean, minimalist look. As an extra touch of style, the temple tips are adorned with CFCL’s signature colors and insignia.

The frames’ construction from titanium—a highly sought-after material due to its resilience and adaptability—guarantees long-term use and resistance to distortion. With their half-mirror coating and subtly curved design, these glasses are perfect for all-weather use. With features that cater to both style and functionality, these lenses offer UV400 protection, scratch-resistant and water-repellent coatings, and anti-reflective qualities.

The debut is complemented with an official short film that takes viewers behind the scenes of the Sabae factory’s painstaking production process, revealing the expertise that goes into each pair of CFCL Eyewear.
