Ba&sh reopens its flagship:  Reopening its flagship store at IFC mall in Hong Kong, the French womenswear label Ba&sh has reached a significant milestone. The location was the brand’s first in a region with strong growth.

Co-founders Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief have crafted a unique experience at the 213 sq m Ba&sh flagship store in the IFC mall, showcasing ‘classic French style with simple sophistication.’ The mall, a hub for business and leisure, sets the stage for this distinctive store. The interior design, inspired by natural elements such as clay, sand, and grey, is a harmonious blend of raw materials and soft hues. This interplay of muted tones and abundant natural light accentuates the vibrant hues of the Ba&sh collections, creating a truly unique shopping experience.

In addition to a large sales area with a lounge for the cozy discovery of BA&SH accessories, the flagship shop also has an event space that can be reserved for customer events. An additional feature is a wide curtain that can be drawn to create a private area. The boutique also has a VIP room in the rear where regular customers can have private sessions and fittings.

The one-of-a-kind moniker Ba&sh, a brand that has been around for 21 years, comes from combining the initial two letters of the founders’ last names. The first standalone store for the brand was opened last fall at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, marking a significant step in its rapid expansion in Asia. This, along with new openings in Italy and Morocco, underscores Ba&sh’s strategic development into Asia. With over 320 locations worldwide, the brand is making its mark in more than 70 countries across Europe, Asia, and North America.

With the addition of Pierre-Arnaud Grenade as CEO and the retention of the founding team, Ba&sh received funding from L Catterton and Groupe Arnault in 2015. Along with current shareholders and the management team, the French firm HLD announced additional investment in Ba&sh in May 2022 to help achieve its ambitious expansion goals.

According to the most recent financial records accessible from 2022, Ba&sh’s revenue reached €310 million, an increase of 22%. Given the brand’s continuing expansion and key shop openings, current sales statistics are likely significantly higher.
