On February 10, the 34-year-old “Stay” singer released a line of velvet liquid lipsticks. The collection features five exquisite colours, ranging in colour from pink to brown, all of which are priced at $29 each. The stains are vivid, matte, and long-lasting.

The latest Fenty release from the “Love on the Brain” singer offers a fix for a persistent makeup issue that many of us are all too familiar with.

“When it comes to matte liquid lipstick, we all know the deal—intense pigment often comes with intense dryness.”  In an interview with Elle that was published on Friday, Rihanna said, “I wanted to fix that. “[It] has a luxe formula that’s creamy and whipped so that the colour glides on and feels plush but won’t crack,” the Barbados native explained. That’s why we call it a ‘velvet matte.’”

The “Umbrella” musician responded to a question about her legacy in the beauty industry by saying, “My mantra has always been and always will be, ‘Beauty is there to have fun with. It should never feel like pressure or a uniform.’”

She added that because she enjoys “that colourful creative process,” she “had to find the balance” between “‘me’ time and full glam” after giving birth to her first kid, a baby boy, in May 2022 with ASAP Rocky.

The Savage X Fenty designer will perform live for the first time in Super Bowl LVII since 2018. The “Don’t Stop The Music” singer admitted that while preparing the performance, she changed the playlist “39” times. This was revealed at the press conference for the Super Bowl Halftime concert on Thursday, February 9.

Rihanna dazzled in an Alaa leather jacket for the occasion. She wore a fur-lined garment that was off her shoulders. The “Disturbia” musician wore it with a snakeskin skirt that had side slits that reached his thigh. She completed the ensemble with a matching pair of heels that had ornate straps that connected her legs together.

The  mother of one wore a dewy face for glam. She wore shimmering eyeshadow on her lid and warm orange eyeshadow in the crease. With vivid red lips, the “Love the Way You Lie” artist injected some colour into her look. Her brunette hair was pulled back into a glossy ponytail, which gave even more drama to the ensemble. Her face-framing hair was down, and the rest of her hair was braided into a gorgeous style. Even the hairband was wrapped in little braids.

The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2023 Super Bowl on Sunday, February 12 in Glendale, Arizona.
