The designer label Cong Tri recently came into limelight when Beyoncé wore the brand for the premier of Lion King earlier this year. Now, the Vietnamese label has presented it’s Spring/Summer 2020 Collection at the New York Fashion Week.  The collection at 60 pieces looked elegant and effortless not to mention refreshing. There was a balance in the pieces. One could not call it minimalist or over the top.

The pieces mostly had simple silhouettes and the collection mostly consisted of A-line gowns and sleek cocktail dresses. The designer also threw in some pants and jumpsuits along with a bit of swimwear. The trains were simple and graceful. Creative Director, Nguyen Cong Tri picked a palette which was as colorful as the season of Spring. The colors of the rainbow were on display individually in the dresses and also in his finale piece, the rainbow dress. Cong Tri’s beautiful short dress which was made of rainbow-colored feathers impressed us not to mention steal the show as well.
