H&M Collaborates with Giambattista Valli for their New Collection
Swedish high-street fashion chain H&M has joined hands with Paris based couturier Giambattista Valli for its 19th annual clothing collaboration with a designer label. The collection titled Project Love, was revealed during the 72nd annual Cannes Film Festival at the 26th annual amfAR Gala. Kendell Jenner surprised fans from around the world when she dropped by the gala dinner in one of the limited editions pieces from the collection. Valli also dressed his muses Chris Lee, Ross Lynch, Chiara Ferragni, Singer H.E.R. and Bianca Brandolini in his limited edition pieces.

“I am excited about this collaboration,” said the designer. “H&M gives me the opportunity to bring my vision of style and my celebration of beauty to a wider audience. The goal is to share my love for beauty and to be able to be a part of everyone’s ‘happy moments’, to help create love stories around the world.
Giambattista Valli is the master of beauty and sophistication. The collection His inspired by is signature tulle layered style and will have party dresses. For a first for Valli, he will be dabbling into men’s wear and release a number of tailored pieces for men.

Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s creative adviser, accompanied Valli and his models at the gala. She seemed visibly excited about the new collaboration.
“Giambattista is really a master when it comes to beauty and glamour and sophistication, we’re really happy to be working with him,” she told Vogue. “We always want to have different takes on the collaborations. This is different compared to Moschino last year. It’s the first time we’re working with someone doing couture.”

Couture at H&M prices. The collection is priced between $18 to $649. The collection will drop in stored and online from November 7, 2019. But there is a surprise for all their fans from around the world. In a first by H&M, they are pre-dropping a limited edition collection on 25th May. The collection contains a few of the pieces from the entire collection and will be available in 12 stores around the world and on H&M’s online website.
