October is bringing a fresh wave of fashion collaborations, collection launches, campaigns and retail expansions as the industry moves beyond the Spring/Summer 2027 fashion month. From Alexa Chung’s partnership with Reformation to Chanel’s new San Diego boutique, brands are introducing new products and experiences across luxury, contemporary fashion and lifestyle.
The month’s developments reflect a mix of seasonal dressing, designer comebacks and anniversary celebrations, offering consumers new ways to engage with established labels and emerging collections.
Reformation Teams Up With Alexa Chung

Reformation has joined forces with British style figure Alexa Chung on a 30-piece collection inspired by classic British dressing and vintage romance. The range includes velvet jackets, graphic T-shirts and sequin bags, blending feminine silhouettes with playful details.
The collaboration brings Chung’s distinctive personal style to the Los Angeles-based brand’s contemporary aesthetic. Some pieces have already been selling quickly following the launch.
Kris Brock Returns With BROCK

Designer Kris Brock has returned to fashion five years after stepping away from his previous brand, introducing his new namesake label, BROCK, during Paris Fashion Week.
The label’s debut collection is planned for Spring/Summer 2027, followed by a resort collection next summer. Its 80-piece lineup features romantic floral prints, lace and ruffles, reflecting Brock’s signature feminine approach. Most styles are priced below $1,000.
“I re-fell in love with why I originally got into fashion, which is to make clothes,” Brock said in a press release.
Skims Expands Into Winter Dressing

Skims launched its Alpine collection on October 8, expanding its cold-weather offering with pieces designed for winter activities and everyday wear.
The collection includes faux-fur puffer jackets, cable-knit turtlenecks, sherpa trousers and other seasonal essentials. Following the success of its collaboration with The North Face, the brand is continuing to develop its presence in cold-weather apparel, moving beyond its core shapewear and loungewear categories.
Frame and Ritz Paris Unveil a New Campaign

Frame and Ritz Paris have continued their partnership with 24 Hours in Paris, a new campaign starring musician Charlotte Lawrence.
The campaign follows Lawrence through a day in Paris wearing pieces from the accompanying collection, including the Ritz Suede Smoking Jacket and Frame’s Ritz Cigarette jeans, a low-rise, dark-wash style with embroidered pockets.
To mark the launch, the brands are hosting a pop-up at the Ritz Paris Boutique at 15 Place Vendôme. The event features the full collection, sweets from Ritz Paris Le Comptoir and a gift with purchase while supplies last.
Jimmy Choo Celebrates 30 Years With Pearls of Wisdom
Jimmy Choo is marking its 30th anniversary with the launch of its “Pearls of Wisdom” capsule collection, released on October 6. Designed by Creative Director Sandra Choi, the range revisits the pearl embellishments that have become part of the label’s design vocabulary.
Shoes, handbags and jewellery feature throughout the collection. Standout pieces include the Ithaca shoes, which incorporate pearls on a gold wedge, and the Irina sandal, decorated with crystals and pearls.
Choi described the pearl as an enduring symbol for the brand, balancing understated elegance with a playful quality.
Chanel Opens a New San Diego Boutique

Chanel opened a new boutique at Westfield University Town Center in San Diego, California, on October 8. Designed by Peter Marino, the New York-based architect known for his longstanding relationship with the fashion house, the two-storey, 16,000-square-foot space offers ready-to-wear, watches, fine jewellery, fragrances and beauty products.
According to the brand, elements of the interior draw inspiration from Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel’s apartment at 31 Rue Cambon in Paris, incorporating carefully selected furnishings and decorative objects.
STATE Bags Partners With Gray Malin

On October 6, STATE Bags introduced a collaboration with fine-art photographer Gray Malin, bringing his beach- and snow-inspired imagery to children’s luggage and family travel accessories.
The collection is priced between $68 and $238. In keeping with STATE Bags’ philanthropic mission, purchases also contribute to its support for children and families in need across the United States.
Urban Outfitters Launches Its First Back-to-Campus Commercial

Urban Outfitters has debuted its first-ever back-to-school brand commercial, titled All Together Now. The campaign celebrates the brand’s connection to college life, bringing together students, athletes and campus communities.
The initiative extends beyond advertising, with a series of on-campus activations planned throughout college football season. A recent event at the University of Wisconsin–Madison featured performances by Mack Keane, The Linda Lindas and Whatmore, alongside an in-store event with Levi’s.
As October progresses, these launches illustrate how fashion brands are combining product innovation, cultural partnerships and physical retail experiences to maintain consumer interest beyond the runway. For shoppers, the month offers a broad mix of seasonal wardrobe updates, designer-led collaborations and new destinations for luxury shopping.
