Miley Cyrus Praises Beyoncé For Being ‘Everything’ After Surprise ‘Cowboy Carter’ Duet
Miley Cyrus Praises Beyoncé For Being: Miley Cyrus couldn’t be happier about her long-awaited collaboration with her idol. In the wake of Beyoncé’s Friday album release, “Cowboy Carter,” which featured a surprise duet with Miley Cyrus titled “II Most Wanted,” the Grammy winner turned to Instagram to convey her appreciation and respect for fellow diva.
Cyrus raved about her love for Beyoncé in Friday’s Instagram post, a love that predates their opportunity to collaborate. She went on to say that working with Beyoncé had only increased her admiration for the artist. After expressing his gratitude for the opportunity, Cyrus went on to describe Beyoncé as “everything and more,” before finally closing with an emotional “Love you.”
The prospect of collaborating with Beyoncé was too exciting for Cyrus, who had been a fan of hers since the release of her first solo album in 2003. In her message of appreciation to all those who had a hand in bringing the partnership to fruition, she also revealed the stunning album cover art.
“Cowboy Carter” was Beyoncé’s foray into country music, and the move was met with both excitement and criticism. “Texas Hold ‘Em,” the lead song from the album, made history by propelling Beyoncé to the top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs list, making her the first Black woman to do so.
Beyoncé and Cyrus exchange verses on the duet “II Most Wanted,” which is set to an interpolation of “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac. In the chorus, they sing a mesmerising duet about being there for each other all the way to the finish.
Produced by Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams, and Swizz Beatz, and featuring an all-star cast including Stevie Wonder, Jon Batiste, and Gary Clark Jr., Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” is sure to take listeners on a wild ride. The record may surprise some, but Beyoncé says it’s the best music she’s ever made, so she’s really looking forward to it.
