Director Todd Phillips has released the first official poster for the highly-anticipated Joker: Folie à Deux. Superstars Joaquin Phoenix (The Joker) and Lady Gaga (Dr. Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn) strike a captivating dancing posture in the middle of the poster. With the title and the phrase “The World Is A Stage” beneath it, the October 4th release date of the sequel is confirmed, and the musical components are teased. Phillips went on to say that April 9th is the day set for the debut of the film’s trailer.

The story of Joker (Phoenix) and Harley Quinn (Gaga), the doctor assigned to his care, becomes entwined in a passionate relationship in Folie à Deux. Along with Steve Coogan, Brendan Gleeson, and Catherine Keener, this enthralling duo is joined by returning actor Zazie Beetz, who plays Arthur’s erstwhile neighbour Sophie Dumond again.
