Seth Meyers’ March Madness Joke: During this week’s March Madness basketball joke, Seth Meyers poked fun at a far-right politician.

On Monday’s “Late Night,” Meyers teased the forthcoming Sweet 16 round of the NCAA March Madness tournament lightheartedly. A picture of Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz came on the screen while he was speaking.

“Heyyyy, no, you get out of here!” Meyers playfully addressed Gaetz’s image, unable to resist the chance for a comedic hit. This Sweet 16 is unlike any other!

The remark is made while Gaetz is still under investigation for alleged sexual encounters he had with a minor while he was a congressman. Allegations have surfaced that a former acquaintance of his is helping the House Ethics Committee with their probe. Despite Joel Greenberg’s cooperation, the Justice Department has already decided not to press charges against Gaetz in relation to allegations of sex trafficking of a minor.
